About us
Roma Clay Target Club was founded on 12 September 1914, originally shooting at the old racecourse before moving to Bungewogorai Creek. The club went into recession during WWII and was reformed in 1948 by the late Keith Cameron, operating on “Comyndale” until relocating to Geoghegan Road in 1956.
The Club is situated on 20 hectares 4km south of Roma. The property is owned freehold by the club and features one of Australia’s largest DTL layouts with 16 DTL layouts and 5 Skeet layouts. There is also a pistol range and a 100 yard rifle range on the grounds. The club has a fully licensed, airconditioned Clubhouse and Function Room that can hold 200 seated dinner guests.
Roma Club is also the host to the QCTA Hall of Fame and has a proud history of members representing Queensland and Australia.
