Competition Days

Competition prizes will depend on numbers. If numbers are low, it will be run as practice.

A beginner-friendly clay shooting discipline where targets are launched away from the shooter in a predictable pattern.

Queensland has a proud history of success in clay target shooting at national and international levels. Through our state team selection processes, we identify and support Queensland's top shooters to represent our state at National Championships and other prestigious events.
About us
Blackall is a rural town in Central Outback Queensland. We have a famous connection to Jackie Howe, the legendary shearer who set a world record here and the original ‘Black Stump’. Our town and district has much to offer for locals and travellers alike.
The Blackall Clay Target Club is an ACTA-Affiliated Club and we Welcome all Registered Shooters travelling through our wonderful part of the country, who maybe looking to Practice or Compete, on our 4 fully lawned DTL Trap Layouts
We are a very small and passionate team of members, who pride ourselves on our very well run and organised events. Our main highlight of the year is our Annual 2 Day Outback Trap Carnival, which is held on the 3rd weekend of May each year.
So when you are passing by call in and see us, have a practice and stay awhile and enjoy our Country Hospitality
